The landscape of WWE Raw has found new directions, especially for the women’s roster in recent times. The longtime former champion dropped her belt at Wrestlemania 38 and thereby handed another historic win to her opponent. With a new reigning champion and a few returns on the board, the creative team of the WWE might have also chalked out the internal positions of the residents, as well.
Going by the recent reports, WWE Raw internal rosters had to be changed to a significant extent. Alexa Bliss recently returned from a long hiatus as a babyface and that is the same case for another former Women’s Champion in Asuka.
WWE Raw: John Cena’s Return Officially Announced For His 20th Anniversary Episode
Spoilers claim that Lacey Evans would be moving from SmackDown to WWE Raw as a heel, ending her run as a babyface figure. Becky Lynch is also back from her Wrestlemania hiatus while Rhea Ripley has turned heel and joined Judgment Day. Those changes had to be reflected on the latest list made by the WWE.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that the internal list of women’s talent on WWE Raw brand has been updated. Obviously, the champion Bianca Belair remains the number-one babyface while Becky Lynch is the number-one heel. Alexa Bliss returned this past Monday and she was still listed as the number-two babyface figure.
You can check out the updated look at the internal babyface and heel rosters for WWE RAW women’s division, courtesy of PWInsider:
Babyfaces
Bianca Belair (WWE Raw Women’s Champion)
Alexa Bliss (Returned on 5/9 Raw)
Liv Morgan
Asuka
Dana Brooke (WWE 24/7 Champion)
Heels
Becky Lynch
Rhea Ripley (Turned heel after joining The Judgment Day at WrestleMania Backlash)
Lacey Evans (Moved to WWE Raw from SmackDown, where she was a babyface)
Carmella
Zelina Vega
Doudrop
Nikki A.S.H. (Currently teaming with Doudrop)
Tamina Snuka
As you can see there’s a noticeable misbalance of babyface and heel superstars. There are only 5 babyface names available while eight superstars are going by their on-screen villainous persona.
Also, it’s interesting to note that Sonya Deville is not listed on this internal roster, but the WWE website has her listed for both RAW and SmackDown rosters given that she was acting as an authority figure. Deville’s original profile page does not have a WWE RAW or SmackDown logo next to her name. Over on Raw, an angle played out where Deville’s management contract was terminated, but she remains to be an active WWE Superstar after getting squashed by the returning Alexa Bliss.
