To promote the WWE Raw 25th anniversary, WWE had been announcing plenty of legendary names, for the past couple of weeks.
It was on last week when we were confirmed of some big returns on the female division of the WWE, just prior to the show. A bunch of names was added to appear on this historic edition of the flagship show.
The likes of Jacqueline, Terry Runnels, Maria Kanellis, Torrie Wilson and Kelly Kelly got mentioned for the show to take us back to the former age of the women’s division.
In addition, Trish Stratus, perhaps the greatest of all time was also announced to arrive for the first time in last five years.
The significance of these ladies appearing on WWE Raw was pretty big considering that the first women’s Royal Rumble was a few nights away and most of them were expected to throw names for the match.
Speaking of all these, we did miss another name who is considered to be a benchmark performer on WWE Raw and featured on the first-ever main-ever featuring women superstars alongside Trish Stratus.

You guess it right since none other than Lita was the face notably missing from the elite women superstars who appeared on the WWE Raw 25th anniversary.
It was even more surprising not to see her because she has been the backbone of the ongoing Women’s Evolution that started back in 2015.
Over the past few years, she was the one to introduce the women’s championship or lending her voice to the Mae Young Classic or being present at the kick-off panel as a regular member.
So, nobody expected her to miss this iconic show and especially a reunion on Monday Night Raw.

As noted on Twitter, Lita revealed the reason for her absence which is quite non-understandable.
A fan asked her about the same when she replied that her name was not on the guest list and she might have watched the show sitting on her couch.
This suggests that she was one of the few names that WWE did not reach out for this historic occasion. The fans are really in the dark as of why WWE would not let Lita appear on this night despite being an active member in the recent past.
However, she was back at Royal Rumble which is why she might is said to be on good terms with the company.
