This Crown Jewel match will be a falls count anywhere encounter that led to some trolling from the fans. The Hell in a Cell main-event match under No Disqualification rules ended in a ‘referee stoppage’ which is the main reason why the fans are giving negative reactions to the upcoming match.
Meanwhile, we need to remember that Seth Rollins will compete in a second match on the same night. There will be a 5-on-5 tag team elimination match between Team Hulk Hogan and team Ric Flair. While Randy Orton will be the team captain on behalf of Flair’s team, Hogan chose Seth Rollins to lead his team. However, it may be impossible for The Architect to compete in a second match before the hellacious battle against The Fiend. So now, it is official that The Universal Champion will no more be available for the tag team bout.
It was earlier noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that due to the ‘double booking’ of Seth Rollins, he is likely to be pulled from the Team Hogan vs Team Flair match. So Hulk Hogan has to find out a new team captain for his team. He is already a member short on his team with Ricochet and Rusev being the other members. Team Flair on the hand has Shinsuke Nakamura, King Corbin, and Bobby Lashley in it alongside Orton.
Seth Rollins is nothing new when it comes to pulling off double duties on a single night. But it will be harmful to his body when it comes to competing in a tag team match before a battle where any weapon would be legal. We’ll wait what decision WWE takes on Monday Night Raw to find a replacement for the captain for Team Hogan.
