WWE Roadblock: Major update and Rumors regarding the match ups
Mar 7, 2016 at 12:19 PM
This is the first time WWE is organizing a WWE Network special event on March 12th prior to Wrestlemania, that is totally different from pay-per-views. Earlier titled March to Wrestlemania will now be broadcasted as WWE Roadblock, at the Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
3 matches have been confirmed till date for the show and hopefully, more will follow this week itself. The main event will see Triple H locking horns with Dean Ambrose for the WWE World Heavyweight championship. Ever since Roman Reigns is written off from TV WWE has focused their attention to the Lunatic Fringe to keep him strongly heading towards Wrestlemania.
Not only that, the match is worth a watch for the WWE universe after what went down with these two men at the Royal Rumble PPV and the Fringe came to the Cerebral assassin demanding his title shot. Perhaps, this is a compensation for the fans from WWE. Though, there will be no title changes at WWE Roadblock. Firstly the rumors were that Ambrose is going to win this one as Triple H’s in ring contract is expiring post-Wrestlemania. But that’s not true at all and will not harm the main storyline between Roman Reigns and Triple H.
The second main event i.e. Brock Lesnar vs. Bray Wyatt itself sounds mouth-watering considering both the men’s physical involvement during the match. And especially after Lesnar never getting the retribution to the Wyatts that were stopped half way and speculated to be booked at Wrestlemania. But then, plans got shelved and Ambrose was booked instead in a street fight against Lesnar.
Another match-up confirmed on the card would see The Revival take on Big Cass and Enzo Amore for the NXT Tag team Championship. Looking at the match cards as of now, the WWE Network special is predicted to be exciting.
