Many believe that Ronda Rousey had the greatest debut in the history of WWE. At Wrestlemania 34, she teamed up with Kurt Angle in a mixed tag team action against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. This, perhaps was not the best match of the evening but the most entertaining one, definitely.
In a big way, the former MMA performer forced Stephanie to tap out. This earned her the very first win in the company and paved the way to achieve bigger goals, going forward.
Reports have been surfaced indicating her next appearances that will certainly delight the crowd.
Proving the initial thoughts wrong, Rousey will now appear in more shows even in the overseas. In an interesting announcement made by WWE.com, the biggest name in the women’s division will now feature in the United Kingdom (UK) tour of the WWE.
Overall thirteen dates have been confirmed for the half-yearly UK tour of the company. The entire Raw and Smackdown roster will head to the countries of Europe.
Rousey is being advertised to feature in some of them. Three dates have been confirmed for her.
Here’s the announcement from the official website of the WWE,
“With a triumphant WrestleMania debut under her belt, “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey will compete in Europe for the first time under a WWE banner during four dates of this May’s WWE Live tour.
The Baddest Woman on the Planet will appear on the May 16 date in Geneva, Switzerland, followed by May 17 in Vienna, Austria, May 18 in Turin, Italy, and May 19 in Paris, France.”
Apart from this, cagesideseats.com gave some more updates on the career of Rousey following the Wrestlemania 34 match.
As per the source, WWE is going to be the home for the former Bantamweight Champion. But, she is set to make sporadic appearances instead of regular show-ups.
So, we will not see Ronda Rousey making appearances in each of the episodes of WWE Raw. But, she will appear in some of them while promoting some big-time matches.
It will be much similar to the schedule of Brock Lesnar that allowed him to be the biggest box-office attraction in the company. Most probably, her next match will be held at the Summerslam PPV event.
