The Royal Rumble match 2017
The presence of Goldberg, Brock Lesnar and the Undertaker in the same ring in this modern era is literally unthinkable. Can you imagine the crowd’s reaction with Taker having a face-off with Goldberg or Strowman? With so many options open, this match will plant seeds for most of this year’s Wrestlemania bouts. The Undertaker is a clear favorite to win it. Even if he gets eliminated, it’ll be in the hands of somebody like Braun Strowman to just put over the guy and have a match with him in his home-turf.
The second option is Chris Jericho. He has not won any Rumble matches despite taking part in it over the years. But, if KO retains his title, then this will set a match between the two best friends. Also, the fans would appreciate the decision giving the GOAT a standing ovation.
Braun Strowman also stands a chance since Vince McMahon is always in favor of the bigger guys without knowing their creditability. Such decision might backfire since the man is not tested for the main event scene. If Reigns wins the title then he’ll have a good chance.
Apart from these three there will some OMG moments like Goldberg-Lesnar face-off and causing each other the spots to set up the final match at Wrestlemania. The audience might come unglued from their seats if Kurt Angle’s music starts playing throughout the arena.
Jerry Lawler is supposed to cause Ziggler his Rumble spot whereas the Miz and Dean Ambrose are supposed to eliminate each other to carry forward their rivalry. Plus, the Wyatts will also start quarreling with each other costing their spots. The New Day might plant the seeds for splitsville in the Rumble match as well.
