WWE Royal Rumble 2022 is waiting later this month with a dream match on the card. Brock Lesnar is back in the fold of Monday Night Raw and he began the New Year with a bang. WWE Universe was delighted to see the babyface version of him who will now collide with the All-Mighty Bobby Lashley to defend his WWE Championship at the Rumble.
The first Raw episode towards Royal Rumble 2022 was kicked off with Paul Heyman introducing the new WWE Champion in Lesnar who came out to a big pop. He threw the steel ring steps in the ring and stood on top of them while Paul Heyman acknowledged him, mocking Roman Reigns. The advocate client duo was apparently back, together.

Lesnar then thanked Heyman for making all of this possible for him due to his free agency. After taking shots at Roman, Heyman proceeded to mention the scheduled Number-One Contenders Fatal 4 Way match between Big E, Bobby Lashley, Seth Rollins, and Kevin Owens on Raw with the winner facing Lesnar for the WWE Title at Royal Rumble 2022.

Heyman addressed each one of the opponents only to mention that they are no match for The Beast. By the end, they shook hands and went to the back, from the ring after the reunion segment.
In the main event of Raw, Lashley became the new number-one contender by winning a Fatal 4 Way over Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and former champion Big E. Lashley pinned Owens with a Spear to get the win after which Lashley vs. Lesnar was officially announced for Royal Rumble 2022.

This will be Lesnar’s first title defense since winning the strap at this past Saturday’s WWE Day 1 pay-per-view. After a mixed tag team match, this Lesnar vs. Lashley dream match was the fourth bout confirmed for the upcoming PPV event.
