Royal Rumble 2023 premium live event is a month away on the WWE calendar but the event has already proven to be a blockbuster success for the company. It has already generated the largest box office gate in the event’s 36-year history and going by the numbers, the event should also see the largest attendance in the history of this chronology, shattering the early records from 2017.

That being said, WWE can certainly hope to have a solid start at the Road to Wrestlemania 39 through Royal Rumble 2023, next month. BetOnline has recently released an early scenario about who might become the favorite to win the Men’s and Women’s Rumble matches. While the initial names are still favored to win, there have been ups and downs in the remaining positions.

Cody Rhodes is the current favorite to be the last man standing in the 30-person over-the-top-rope melee. He has always been in this position for the past few months except for some time when The Rock headed to the top. Now, The Great One remains in the third position while Sami Zayn has ascended to the second spot, mainly due to his hit run as The Honorary Uce of The Bloodline.

Cody Rhodes has been out of action for around six months as he had to go through surgery due to torn pectoral muscle. Since his hiatus began in June, Royal Rumble 2023 was rumored to witness his impending return. Then he made a surprise appearance on this Monday’s Raw 2022 recap edition and revealed his specific goal of holding the WWE Championship upon his comeback,

On the women’s side, Becky Lynch is the current odds-on favorite to win the Women’s Royal Rumble 2023 match. Being a six-time women’s champion and the 2019 Women’s Rumble winner, she already holds the advantage to move into yet another marquee match at Wrestlemania.

Charlotte Flair has been pushed back into the third position, possibly due to her absence from WWE television for more than six months. Rhea Ripley has rightfully overtaken her by capturing the second spot. Also, Raquel Rodriguez is currently residing in the fifth position, being a top babyface figure from the Smackdown Women’s division.
