WWE Rumor: Becky Lynch Still Not Cleared To Compete At WWE TLC 1

Becky Lynch is out of action from Smackdown Live for the past several weeks. Nia Jax hit into her face with a stiff punch causing a concussion. WWE noted it as a ‘broken face’ which is still keeping her away from in-ring competition. The good news is that WWE booked her in a match at TLC PPV hinting that the injury is about to heal, sooner.

But the current reports are suggesting that Becky Lynch has still not been able to collect the clean-chit from the doctors. This puts a question mark to the history-making match at WWE TLC. The Smackdown Women’s Championship will be on the line at the PPV in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match. It will be a triple threat match with Charlotte Flair and Asuka as the contenders.

But there could be a change in the lineup in the near future considering the current situation of Becky Lynch. As per the reports of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Smackdown title-holder is still to get over with the concussion. She is not 100 percent fit to compete inside the ring. There’re no medical issues in her body.

But the broken nose is yet to go back to its normal state. The nasal fracture is still not allowing to get her physical inside the ring. The good part of this situation is that it is not hard to estimate a recovery time for a broken nose. WWE hopes that she will be back in full form within WWE TLC. Here’s the update from ringsidenews.com,

“It was noted that WWE expects Becky Lynch to be cleared from her broken nose within the next 10 days or so which could put her very close to the TLC pay-per-view on December 16th. She is currently working with a “limited clearance” which means she’s allowed to be on television, but she’s not getting physical just yet.”

The same condition reflected from the happening of this week’s Smackdown Live. Becky Lynch was present for the women’s contract signing for WWE TLC. But she walked away from the ring out of frustration. The actual reason was to keep her away from any sort of physical altercation. She kept the distance from the ring during the tag team match, as well.

Also, WWE might have intentionally announced a triple threat match at WWE TLC. In case, Becky Lynch remains unable to compete on December 16th, it will change into a one-on-one contest between Charlotte Flair and Asuka. We are likely to get a confirmed update on the champ’s condition when Smackdown comes up with the final episode before WWE TLC.
