The main event of this year’s Wrestlemania is said to be already finalized. This is quite certain that the prime championship match from the flagship brand should close the show. But, depending on the buildups and anticipations, sometimes, other matches are chosen. Apparently, the same might happen with this year’s closing showdown.
Earlier, the Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar was set to be the main event of Wrestlemania 34. But, recently, the controversies with steroids affected the status of the match, severely. As reported earlier, the challenger in this match is said to be involved in dealing with steroids alongside infamous dealer, Richard Rodriguez.
This created a negative backlash around the WWE fans which might force the officials to alter the main event match. So, another match has been considered as a replacement. It is going to be the contest of Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey vs. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, according to SportsKeeda.com. This match is set up to be one of the marquee attractions from Wrestlemania.
The involvement of Ronda Rousey in this match is a unique thing which is going to be the first-ever match for her in the WWE. The former UFC Bantamweight Champion has signed an official contract with the company at Elimination Chamber. Going forward, this match has been set up on WWE Raw which is going to earn quite mainstream attention, as well.
This is a good backup option for the WWE Creative Team to replace the original main event. It comes toppling the secondary prime match for the WWE Championship match. Despite AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura being a dream match in the pro-wrestling industry, the officials are not considering it to close the show.
The source declared an additional reason. It stated that Brock Lesnar leaving the WWE and working part-time also produced negative reactions. Check out the quotes from the source,
“As per WON, it is quite possible that the Universal Championship might not finish the show at Wrestlemania 34 as many have been expected. The reason is that WWE are not happy with Brock Lesnar and want to downplay his role before he leaves the company.”

Technically, it should not be a good option to finish the match card with a tag team action. But then again, the officials might not have an additional exception. The matchup featuring the Undertaker might also turn out to be a good choice if he decides to perform on the show.
