WWE Rumor: Dean Ambrose will be off from TV after No Mercy 1

It looks like Smackdown’s TV ratings will hit a mammoth roadblock after the No Mercy PPV. As reported earlier, John Cena will go on a hiatus once the PPV is over. Now, in addition to that we getting news that Ambrose too will not be appearing on Smackdown after the second PPV event from the blue brand.
Dean Ambrose will be part of a movie from WWE’s home production, WWE Studios, later this year. The filming is supposed to start from November. So, we are expecting Ambrose to not appear from October end onwards. The Smackdown story-tellers will soon start to keep work on how to keep the former champion off the TV via an appropriate storyline.
It is perhaps the sole reason for which Ambrose has been handed with his singles rematch against AJ Styles for the WWE World title prior to the No Mercy PPV. The announcement came from Daniel Bryan, out of nowhere. It appears that Ambrose will not get enough time to claim his rematch post-No Mercy scenario and hence he is getting the early title shot.

It will also be interesting to see who will be AJ Styles’ next contender to challenge him for the WWE World title. Styles will hold the championship for a long time since Cena and Ambrose both is going on the television. He will be the one to carry the Smackdown division on his shoulder from that point onwards.
Dean Ambrose has been the most consistent worker since the Shield broke up in the year 2014. He has not taken a time-off in the last two years. He continued working with his bruised body for both Raw and Smackdown prior to the WWE Draft. As a result, he was the only prime champion in the both the shows prior to this year’s Summerslam.
After Summerslam though, he had a low time and hence lost the title to AJ Styles. This break is much needed for him as he can come back with a fresh storyline. Reports suggest that he will not be back until Royal Rumble hypes start to take off in January 2017.
