Finn Balor suffered an unfortunate shoulder dislocation at the Summerslam PPV at the hands of Seth Rollins. After becoming the first ever Universal champion, he was bound to get a big push by becoming the prime babyface on the Raw brand.
However, all the plans were wiped out after he was sidelined for a span of over five or six months.
Ever since his rehab process started, fans started speculating the possible time of his return. However, he kept dodging the speculation by only saying that this is a serious injury and he will not take any premature decision while returning to action. So, he is eying a Wrestlemania return.
The speculation about his dramatic return at the Royal Rumble match are still intact and in some recent social media posts, he himself hinted the same. As per the pictures, he indicated that he will be entering the Royal Rumble match to claim the Universal championship back to him. The number 30 further indicated that he will be the last entry into the match.

The fans also responded in return to Balor’s posts.

The Demon King is a master of teasing when it comes to return. Hence, nothing can be solidified, as of now. However, he is the automatic choice to win the Royal Rumble event and challenge the current champion Kevin Owens since he never lost the title in the first place. There have many reports which claimed that Balor is one of the favourites to win this year’s Rumble match.
Furthermore, number 30 has always been the spot that came with surprise appearances. For more than one occasion in the history of Royal Rumble, we crowned winners from that spot. Even last year, Triple H returned to enter on the same spot and win the match.
