WWE Rumors: Goldberg To Face Brock Lesnar At Fastlane PPV 1

As per previous reports, Goldberg is all set to appear in more matches in the upcoming months. He is said to have extended his contract to appear in three PPV matches after the Survivor Series PPV, two of which are all set at the Royal Rumble and the Wrestlemania PPV and the other one is supposedly going to be at the Fastlane PPV. As per the advertisements of the BMO Bradley Harris Center, he is booked for the show.

Vince McMahon considers him to be the savior of ratings for Monday Night Raw which saw huge downfall during the month of December with the lack of big names. But Goldberg’s appearance pulled that up and hence the creative wants him to appear in more in-ring capacities. Hence, he might be added to the Fastlane PPV, as well.

His booked program with Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania might see a change after he confronted Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens during his Raw segment. The stares have been able to earn a big pop from the crowd and hence The Myth might be seen in a different capacity at Wrestlemania.

So, Inquistr.com reported that the third edition of Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg has been preponed. It will now take place at the Fastlane PPV. This is going to be the last stop before Wrestlemania 33 which will be the final build up for the biggest event. Although, the WWE has not confirmed it but the PPV is scheduled on March 5 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The WWE might also decide to go with a second option as well. If Roman Reigns wins the Universal championship at the Royal Rumble PPV, then Goldberg might step up to challenge him at Fastlane. Brock Lesnar will cost him the match setting up the final showdown between at Wrestlemania. This will keep the main plan intact but also use Goldberg in one more match.
