WWE Rumor: Goldberg To Lose At The Survivor Series PPV 1

In the midst of all the hype leading up to the dream match of Goldberg and Brock Lesnar, we are constantly getting a rumor of Goldberg’s loss at the Survivor Series PPV. The dual brand PPV will see the main event of these two fighters in the main event in Toronto, Canada. Cagesideseats.com has already reported that the match would mark the end of Goldberg’s career in the pro-wrestling industry and it will be on a losing note.

There are various other rumor reports that suggest the same, as well. The gunshot started after Paul Heyman reminded everyone on Raw that the beast incarnate still remembers the loss at Wrestlemania 20 and he would love to settle the score against “the myth” in an icon vs. icon match. Brock Lesnar never got the chance to settle the score with Goldberg since he never showed up in the WWE, since then. Now, in a time when he is unstoppable, he would love to dominate the franchise of WCW.

Heyman quoted on Raw, “Here’s the one thing that unhinges my beast. Goldberg is still 1-up on Brock Lesnar. Which is why I have been authorized tonight to come out here and let the entire WWE Universe know. Goldberg, you sir are hereby challenged to a fight. One on One. Beast vs. The Myth. Icon vs. Icon. Anywhere. Any place. Any time. Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg.”

It’s quite understandable that WWE would like to take the easiest way of keeping Brock Lesnar dominant as he is. There’s no way that a 51-year-old, Goldberg who has been away from the squared circle for 12 years will be able to defeat the greatest combat athlete in the WWE. But, the fans are happy to see the dream match and one more spear or jackhammer should be enough to make them smile.
