The release of the WWE 2k17 video game is coming closer on October and the rumors of Goldberg returning to the WWE is running rampant. In the past, we have seen The Ultimate Warrior and Sting returning to the company by gracing the cover of the annual WWE video game. This time too, WWE might follow the trend by bringing back Goldberg.
During the end of the Summerslam, the fans started chanting the name Goldberg thinking that it is going to be a perfect time for his return. He was present in the same building to promote WWE 2K17 video game which increased the rumors, further. However, that did not happen and the fans were disappointed. Goldberg apologized to the fans later on Twitter.
Going by the rumor mill, we are approaching towards a similar situation on September 25th on the day of the Clash of Champions PPV. WWE Raw will come up with their first-ever PPV in the new era from Indianapolis, Indiana. Goldberg will be present in the same city to attend Eric Bischoff’s wrestling podcast on the same day.
The rumor mill suggests that Goldberg is expected to be present at the Clash of Champions PPV in a certain capacity. No details of Goldberg’s appearance have been found, yet.
MarkOutMoments.com posted a video on Twitter to promote the wrestling podcast hosted by the former WWE General Manager, Eric Bischoff. Goldberg took a dig there at Brock Lesnar stating that he is not the next, yet. Rather, Bischoff is the next one and he intends to let him down on the show he will “pop his head alive on the show.”
