The most dominant performer in the WCW history, Goldberg has returned to the WWE after a long hiatus of 12 years. We have never thought of seeing ‘the Myth’ back in a squared circle in our wildest dreams. Especially he departed the company on bad terms after the Wrestlemania 20 night. He himself said in his promo on Raw that he was not thought of the return, either. But, we never knew what’s going to happen next in the WWE and the dream match against Brock Lesnar came to fruition as a result of the WWE 2K17.
The power packed promo is supposedly the best by Goldberg, till date. Now, in that promo, the man has mentioned that Brock Lesnar is going to be his last opponent and the match at Survivor Series is going to be his last in the pro-wrestling circuit. Going by his age, it is quite evident that WWE would not make further plans with him.
But, the latest rumor is suggesting something totally opposite. It says that there will be a spear vs. spear match with the Samoan Big Dog, Roman Reigns against the innovator of the spear, Goldberg. Reigns are now stuck at the mid-card level and this feud will help him to elevate to the top of the food chain, again. If that is the case then Goldberg will come out victorious in the match at Survivor Series PPV.
Now, quite obviously Goldberg is booked until the Survivor Series PPV and he is not being mentioned for any shows, thereafter. He is not advertised for the next Raw after November 20th’s PPV event. Even the video graphics during his entrance suggested that he is probably under contract for the promotion of the WWE video game, WWE 2K17. However, it depends on the success of his dream match against Brock Lesnar that if he is going to receive one more match or not. In WWE, we can never count out even wildest rumors.
