We have got a “match of the year” candidate in the dream match between John Cena and AJ Styles. After the back-and-forth encounter, Styles beat Cena, once again. This time, he beat the Cenation leader in a clean one-on-one bout. More significantly, John Cena left his armband in the middle of the ring, following the loss. This kept his millions of fans on their toes, since then.
As reports earlier, Cena is probably taking hiatus from now on to film the second season of the American Grit reality series on Fox television. Hence, he will not be seen on Smackdown Live, starting from today. Rumors suggest that he will be back in the time of Survivor series PPV during the month of November.
However, leaving his “Never give up” arm-band inside the ring is supposed to be much more significant to the fans. It may very well mean that he has entered the last phase of his career despite his strong claim that he is going nowhere from the WWE. We may get to know a bit about Cena’s condition when Smackdown Live comes on the air, tonight. Meanwhile, the internet was turned into a frenzy with Cena’s future and they expressed their views on Twitter.

#CenaArmband gesture could have been him saying he gave his all during the match. I refuse to believe it meant anything else. #SummerSlam
