A lot has been going around in the WWE with Wrestlemania 35 approaching. It is that time of the year when we feel the energy in the air. Superstars get pumped to be a part of marquee matches on the biggest event of the year that could change their career for good. But not everybody can expect positive things waiting for them. Kurt Angle is one of the names who might have to go through a negative phase for now with days prior to Wrestlemania.

The Shield bids farewell to WWE Universe
We have reported this earlier stating that Kurt Angle has not been in a shape for competition. Despite this, the official allowed him to compete in a number of matches on WWE Raw. But his movements did not look like an agile athlete, at all. So he ended up putting over the newer talents from the flagship show. Speculations were running rampant that he will end his career at Wrestlemania putting over any one of them.
But the latest report suggests that Kurt Angle may not get a match at Wrestlemania 35, at all. Rajah.com is reporting via Twitter that ‘The Olympic Gold Medalist’ is set to a curtain call on his career sooner than expected. There’s no update available on when the announcement could come. But this might end up happening on tonight’s edition of WWE Raw.
This edition of WWE’s flagship show will emanate from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania which is home to Kurt Angle. So he may not get a better opportunity to bid adieu to the WWE Universe. Here’s more from the source,
“Hearing that a Kurt Angle “retirement” is not only a foregone conclusion at this point but probably imminent. Sadly, it doesn’t sound like he’ll get a dream retirement match or anything. Working on getting more info.”
There were a lot of expectations from Kurt Angle when he made his return to WWE Raw in 2017. We hoped to see him in a number of dream matches following his Hall of fame induction. But his slow-paced actions inside the ring did not allow the creative team to insert him in any sort of big matches except for Wrestlemania 34. It was a tag team match where Ronda Rousey stole the show. We will see if WWE allows him to compete on April 7th in one last match.
