WWE Rumor: Mickie James Was The Masked La Luchdora On Smackdown
This week’s Smackdown Live had witnessed a plethora of championship matches including Alexa Bliss defending her Smackdown Women’s title against Becky Lynch. When we thought that Becky would prevail to win back the title from the wicked witch, La Luchadora came out to interfere in the match. The distraction allowed Bliss to capitalise by hitting the DDT on Becky and retain her title.
We have seen Becky Lynch herself disguised as the masked woman, the previous week. So, we kept on wondering who this could be. The champion was asked about her opinion on La Luchadora’s identity and she took the name of Sasha Banks or perhaps, Nia Jax. But, according to the rumours, the mystery woman is someone else.
As reported earlier, Mickie James is on hold to make her Smackdown Live debut in 2017. So, quite rightfully this was none but her making the presence felt on the main roster in disguise. Twitter is buzzing with Mickie James’ potential return to Smackdown Live, the very next week.
Previously Slice wrestling tweeted it out saying that the former women’s champion appeared for the routine medical screening test in Pittsburgh and will be available for Smackdown Live, much sooner than expected. She will be a full-time member on the show, going forwards.

The storyline is quite predictable from now onwards. Upon the revelation of her identity, Mickie James will be indulged into a feud against the Irish Lass-kicker for costing her a title opportunity. Rumours also suggest that she will be involved in the title picture upon return. Hence, a triple threat match between Alexa, Becky and James might be in store for Royal Rumble.
Smackdown has already given fresh booking on the Women’s division. With the inclusion of a veteran like James will give more options to the creative team. She is supposed to be given a jobber role in putting over new talents, as of now.
