WWE Rumor: Nikki Bella Might Comeback With Her Sister, Brie Bella 1

It was earlier reported that Nikki Bella would go on to a hiatus following Wrestlemania 33. The event turned out to be an auspicious occasion for her since John Cena finally bent down on his knees to propose her. This was a hell of a Wrestlemania moment by virtue of which the first couple of the WWE got officially engaged.

It was a dream sequence in her life, for sure. But, there was a negative side, as well. This match was arranged due to the fact that if Cena does not get another chance to wrestle with Nikki ever again in the WWE due to the neck concussions.

To heal the wounds in her neck, Nikki was forced to go on a hiatus upon the conclusion of Wrestlemania. She further appeared in an interview with the E! Network where she gave a big update stating that the next time she makes her come back, we might get to see Brie Bella by her side, again. Take a look at her comments:

“Recently I had to get MRIs and CT scans and we realised that I have a slight herniation above where I had surgery, which isn’t good, which means I have to take time off and I have to heal.
And hopefully when that heals, if it does, I can get back in the ring, I pray that it won’t be a long time but, I don’t know, it’s in God’s hands.”

The topic of her sister joining her upon return was indicated in a post on twitter where she stated that there are chances of the ‘Brie-mode’ getting activated, once again.

Brie Bella has wrestled last in a match at Wrestlemania 32 which was supposedly her retirement from WWE. However, later she clarified telling that there are possibilities that she might come back for one last run after she gives birth to the child with her husband, Daniel Bryan. The baby girl is expected to arrive within the next two months.

Bryan also previously hinted that Brie might return to WWE in time for Summerslam if her health is well after the delivery. As for now, there will be a huge void on the Smackdown roster in the absence of Nikki Bella. The longest reigning Divas champion was an integral part of the women’s division. In her absence, names like Naomi, Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch should carry the brand forward.
