WWE Rumor: Reason Why SAnitY is Yet to Make Smackdown Live Debut
Smackdown Live was the ultimate gainer from this year’s edition of the Superstar Shakeup. They had gathered some of the top names from WWE Raw like Samoa Joe, The Miz, Asuka and more.
There was a series of NXT names that emerged to the main roster as well. IIconics, SAnitY, Cien Andrade Almas were amongst those names to revamp the entire brand.
We are yet to see the debut of SAnitY on live TV among these names. All the other names came to the main roster after the draft, but the team which is synonymous with making chaos is yet to do the same. The faction consists of Alexander Wolfe, Killian Dain, Nikki Cross and Eric Young is perhaps the most dominant force in the history of NXT.
We have seen some of the vignettes featuring SAnitY for the past few episodes on Smackdown Live. But they are yet to make an in-person debut on the main roster to date. We wonder why such a strong faction had to wait for a long time even after getting the call-up. A reliable source tried to find the answer.
Bryan Alvarez discussed the above topic in a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Live. As per the veteran professional wrestling journalist, the main fear of the creative team is that they might get lost in the shuffle. We have seen in the past that names like Bobby Roode or even Shinsuke Nakamura suffering the same consequence on the blue brand.
So they did not want to do the same with SAnitY for now. It’s better to let them wait for a while. Check out the updates on this, (courtesy SportsKeeda.com)
“Veteran professional wrestling journalist Bryan Alvarez explained that a possible reason behind SAnitY not having made their SmackDown Live debut yet is that WWE isn’t keen on throwing all NXT call-ups on its main-roster television programming right away, and risk having SAnitY get lost in the shuffle.”
The source also pointed out the fact that Bobby Lashley was without an opponent on WWE Raw for past several weeks. Bobby Roode is also without any confirmed opponent ever since going to the flagship show. There’s no denying that the officials are right to keep SAnitY off for sometimes.
