WWE Rumors: Triple H & Seth Rollins To Have A Segment At WrestleMania 33 Instead Of Match 1

It was on the night of Samoa Joe’s debut that injured Seth Rollins. The attack was planned but due to Joe’s botch at one point, Rollins’ knee was torn for the second time putting his Wrestlemania career in serious jeopardy. Although the match between Triple H and Rollins is being promoted by WWE, there’s no confirmation of this bout happening at Wrestlemania.

According to a report from pro-wrestlingsheet.com, Seth Rollins has been cleared to compete inside the squared circle. But, there are some restrictions to perform at his very best. They might have banned him from doing his aerial moves for now. So, WWE is still hesitating to announce the match, officially.

Considering that this match was on WWE’s blueprint for a long time now, the creative does not want to pull it off from the card. This is why Dave Meltzer has stated that the match will take place as per the schedule. Here’re his comments regarding this matter,

“Seth is considered good for WrestleMania. So Triple H vs. Seth is on, and that’s what they’re working towards.”

WWE does not want Rollins to miss Wrestlemania for two straight years. This might harm his career to a certain extent. If he can’t perform the risky moves there then a segment between him and Rollins is being reserved. This is why we have heard Triple H mentioning Rollins should not call out him at the biggest stage.

During an interview on Raw, The Game quoted the same saying:

“When you have the best doctors saying you shouldn’t try but you insist, it’s just pure stupidity. WrestleMania is where dreams come true, and Rollins has always dreamed of being The Man, but if he goes against doctor’s orders and shows up at WrestleMania to call me out, it will be the last thing Rollins ever does in a WWE ring.”

At this point, things are very uncertain with Rollins. WWE is trying their very best so that he gets 100 percent fit before April 2nd.
