With All Elite Wrestling entering as a big competition for the WWE, fans did feel that they would make a way for CM Punk to be back in the scene. Why Huge Title Change Took Place On WWE Raw Instead Of Summerslam?

However, the latest update from Tom Colohue hinted that it’s not true, at all. WWE has previously tried to bring back CM Punk from the hiatus in the recent past. But he has not moved from his stand of not returning to the pro-wrestling ring, at all forcing WWE not to pursue him, anymore. As per the source, WWE has no more interest to sign him in future,

“I have been repeatedly told that there is no interest within the #WWE to sign CM Punk and no indication of any interest from CM Punk to sign. If #AEW can convince him, I doubt WWE could do anything to stop them.”

Two WWE Raw Superstars Dealing With Injuries Ahead Of Summerslam

As carried in a report from ringsidenews.com, All Elite Wrestling can talk CM Punk into joining them since WWE probably can’t do much to change his mind. This automatically eliminates the chance of seeing the return of the Millenium in WWE. However, a slight chance still does remain with AEW if they do come up with a fresh deal in the table.

4 Main Events Revealed For WWE’s Return At Madison Square Garden

There’s a saying that time heals the wound but this has not been true in CM Punk scenario as it had a unique huge defamation lawsuit that stretched for years. The former WWE Champion won the case in court against WWE’s doctor Chris Amann but the extension of the lawsuit spread the bad blood to the biggest extent. So there’s literally no chance of seeing the popular superstar back in the big league.

On this context, you may have a look at what AEW official Cody Rhodes has stated regarding CM Punk returning to Pro-Wrestling on social media,

“I think he was misquoted. I know 1 of us had met with him in person, and yes I texted him plenty when we couldn’t connect on the actual phone, but not a contracted offer. I wouldn’t be surprised if he went back to wwe. Regardless, great wrestler & guy. Door is open if he wants it.”
