Women superstars are continuously setting the bar high. When we see names like Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch or Asuka these days, it’s easy to believe that they were meant to be in the spotlight. The women’s Evolution process handed them their rightful spot. They should go all the way to the main event of Wrestlemania 35, next.
The rumor mill is suggesting about the first-ever women’s main event at Wrestlemania on a regular basis. The absence of Roman Reigns and the constant marquee matches delivered by the women superstars are reasons behind this. Plus, the presence of Ronda Rousey is also hinting the same. This might be the only reason that she will remain the champion until Wrestlemania.
The storyline angle is also heading to the same way, for now. Charlotte Flair has destroyed Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series to set up an automatic rematch. The baddest on the planet took the feud forward when she shoved a ladder off at WWE TLC. She cost both Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch their title opportunity.

This does mean that both these Smackdown superstars will come after WWE Raw women’s champion in the near future. This should happen as soon as the Wrestlemania season kicks off. Now, Jon Fisher of Oh you didn’t know podcast reported that WWE officials have already confirmed that Charlotte Flair will be in the main event of Wrestlemania.
Here are his exact words from Fisher, (courtesy ringsidenews.com)
“A good source told me within the last week or so that despite the booking of the TLC match with Charlotte, Asuka, and Becky Lynch before the Charlotte/ Ronda Rousey match at Survivor Series that Charlotte was told that she’d be in the main event of WrestleMania.”
Additionally, Brad Sheperd hinted that there should be a triple threat match at Wrestlemania 35. Ronda Rousey will face Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch in a title defense. Currently, the storyline is also going forward in the same direction. As the WWE Raw women’s champion has been a target by the two Smackdown women.
Becky Lynch is still due with the dream solo contest against Ronda Rousey from Survivor Series. This might go in favor of The Man. In this case, this one-on-one fight might go down as the women’s main event match at Wrestlemania 35. Royal Rumble should give us a hint in about the potential marquee match in-store.
