The final stop before Wrestlemania is the Fastlane PPV which is going to be a Raw-exclusive one in the month of March. It is scheduled to take place on March 5 at the BMO Bradley Harris Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The match card is supposed to be a stacked one unlike the previous Raw-exclusive one, Roadblock. This would also finalize the lineups for Wrestlemania.
As advertised by the arena itself, Goldberg is all set to feature in the main event of that night. The venue is already selling tickets with this advertisement which is a good indication that he will be taking on the reigning champion for the title at Fastlane. Furthermore, No-DQ.com has been able to throw some lights on the possible match card of the night and it’s given below.
Kevin Owens vs. Goldberg (WWE Universal championship)
Chris Jericho vs. Sami Zayn (United States championship)
Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax
Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman (Some sort of stipulation involved)
Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. Sheamus and Cesaro (Raw Tag Team championship)
Seth Rollins vs. Samoa Joe
The last match mentioned on the card is in serious jeopardy after Rollins got injured at the hands of his supposed opponent, last week. His condition is to be addressed on tonight’s Raw and we will see what WWE has to offer regarding him. If he cannot compete at Fastlane then we should get a replacement for him.
The Universal championship scenario is going to be an interesting one. As reported earlier, KO has not got his next opponent, till now and Goldberg should fill the void, tonight when he appears on Raw. He is also advertised for the go-home Raw for Fastlane which also supports the fact.
Goldberg has been able to impress Vince McMahon with his run in the WWE so far. With a tremendous fan following by his side, it is likely that he would get a short title run prior to Wrestlemania.
