Ever since the announcement regarding Kurt Angle getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2017 was announced, the rumor mill has gone wild with the possibilities for him upon an in-ring return.
Generally, if a certain superstar gets inducted into the elite club of the WWE, his in-ring career is said to be over. But, pro-wrestling fans always wanted to see him in physical capacity after coming back. This might be the reason the WWE Creative is still nurturing the possibilities of letting him compete in at least a couple of matches.
A report of cagsideseats.com suggested the same saying Kurt Angle will be a part of different storylines upon his television return. Due to his Hall of Fame induction, he might have signed a deal with the WWE which will require him to appear on either Raw or Smackdown based upon some WWE storylines. The source has not disclosed in which capacity he might appear in due course.
Angle fans definitely want him to be seen in wrestling capacity upon his return. He has wished to work with newer guys like Rusev, Seth Rollins, American Alpha or his former TNA buddy, AJ Styles. This can certainly open up options for arranging some dream matches from the WWE.
Furthermore, another option for him that the rumor mill has to offer is to make him the Raw General Manager in due course. Mick Foley has hinted the GM post will be up for grab soon.
