WWE Rumors: Paige In WWE’s Good Books By Hitting Back At An MTV Personality
Feb 2, 2017 at 11:28 AM
We are in the midst of Women’s Revolution Era where the gap between male and female roster is being gradually demolished. We are getting Hell in a Cell, Tables, No-disqualification, Steel Cage matches for women as well which was previously reserved for the men’s division only.
Gone are the days when female athletes were only used for stripping down inside the ring much to the delight of audience.
Is it a requirement for @wwe women to dress and act like strippers? I cant tell any of them apart. Try something new ladies ?

That’s what happened after an MTV personality, Cara Maria posted a tweet to belittle the efforts of the WWE female wrestlers. She compared them with the strippers due to the revealing in-ring gears of the performers. The tweet went viral among the fans who found it disgusting.
However, none other than WWE’s anti-Diva, Paige took her twitter handle to give a befitting reply. In a sarcastic manner, she said despite being strippers, they are role models to many around the world. Plus, they accomplish a lot as global athletes by wrestling inside the ring.
But we are just strippers. What do I know?… https://t.co/zeALqCU2z7

Yet.. we do everything in our power off the stripper pole to empower women/men, encourage female athletes, work with charities.. https://t.co/zeALqCU2z7

WWE fans were overjoyed with someone hitting back the MTV personality. The comment indicates the fact that someone like Cara does not even know how much it takes to perform as a wrestler. The in-ring attires are used only to make them comfortable while competing in the ring.

After this incident happened, it is supposed that Paige might have found a way to get back into the good books of WWE after having a stressful 2016. However, she is not expected to return at least until Wrestlemania. It might get extended till Summerslam as well.
