The much-anticipated dream match between AJ Styles and John Cena will take place at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view on June 19th. The stakes for this match are even higher than a Wrestlemania match as the globally known ‘Phenomenal One’ will go one-on-one against the franchise of the WWE, John Cena. The feud started to build when Cena made his miracle return on Raw at the Memorial Day edition where AJ turn on him officially going heel.
Initially, it was AJ who showed up to welcome back Cena but that was just a trap for him as soon Gallows and Anderson hit the ring and ambushed Cena laying him down with a brutal beat-down. According to the reports of cagesideseats.com, the rivalry between Styles and Cena will continue even after the Money in the Bank Pay-per-view and will culminate at the biggest pay-per-view event of the year, Summerslam.
Whereas John Cena is a 15-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, the former TNA, and IGWP champion is yet to get his hands in any of the titles in WWE. But, as per the previous reports, he may very well end up getting that soon. John Cena will probably move to the blue brand to give it a boost. Alongside Cena, AJ Styles will be another one who is supposed to be the marquee attraction for Smackdown. Smackdown will get its own world championship like the previous World Heavyweight Championship. Cena and Styles will fight it out for the divided belt on WWE Smackdown and probably Styles is the one to capture it for the first time.
Alongside Styles, The Club members Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson too are heading towards gold. The former three-time IGWP tag team champions are now being featured in the tag team scenario and likely to get their hands on the title in the upcoming months. They will compete in a Fatal-4-way match at Money in the Bank pay-per-view and surely involve in the dream feud between AJ Styles and John Cena.
