WWE Rumors: potential planning for the WWE championship in the upcoming months 1

Anybody from the WWE creative team knows how risk taking the plans could turn out to be when they chalk out a plan. And this time, they are playing with the fire by letting the present and past cornerstones of the company, perhaps. According to the news coming from dailywrestlingnews.com, the backstage plan is that Roman Reigns will face John Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight championship at Summerslam.
The creative feels to let Cena have his sixteenth world championship run, though, it will be imminent. This certainly not the automatic choice for WWE but going by the scenario it is evident that this two clashing is somewhere waiting down the line in the near future.

Backstage rumor also suggests that huge push is definitely waiting for AJ Styles. He is the rookie who received such a huge push within just a few months in his WWE career. Just three months have passed by since he first walked down the ramp at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view and he is the current number one contender for the WWE championship.

According to the reports, WWE officials are pleased with Styles performance. His merchandise sales figures are so high that he’s speculated to be the most successful “new talent” in WWE in many years. The decision to make him the number one contender was purely on the basis to end the boring face run of Roman Reigns and execute the much-anticipated heel persona out of him.
Another possible angle for the WWE championship can supposedly unfold with Brock Lesnar and Bray Wyatt or Braun Strowman. This contest too is supposedly reserved for the summer’s hottest show i.e. Summerslam considering Strowman set loose from Vince McMahon’s grabs in near future.
