The crowd gave zero reaction to Bobby Lashley during this rivalry. He locked horns with Zayn in a singles contest at MITB and won it quite easily. He is getting the momentums since that point onwards.
The number one contender’s position for the Universal Championship is currently vacant. It looks like he is the front-runner to capture the spot. Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley had some confrontations on for the past couple of weeks on this issue. Both of them had Brock Lesnar to be the next target. The question remains who should get the next shot at the beast.

It is likely that Roman Reigns will square off against Bobby Lashley for the coveted spot. The Big Dog should be the original favourite to win the contest and get another Universal Championship match. But the fans will not accept the fact that he is getting the umpteenth chance to capture the title.
Hence, giving an opportunity to Bobby Lashley would be a good choice. However, we need to remember that the WWE Universe is still not ‘over’ with him as a marquee player. He was not a main-eventer during his earlier tenure in the company. So it is quite doubtful whether the fans would accept him as a solid challenger against Brock Lesnar.
The contender’s match is likely to be official on the next week’s episode of WWE Raw. There’s no doubt that Lashley will be a part of it. After that, only time will tell whether he gets to face the beast inside the squared circle.
