WWE Rumour: Bray Wyatt to Become Leader of a New Faction
Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy have been involved in a feud for the better part of the pre-Wrestlemania season. By virtue of this, we witnessed the inevitable singles match between the two of them at the Hardy Compound.
In an entertaining affair, the innovator of this gimmick matchup came up as the victorious one.
While winning this match, Bray Wyatt was sent into the Lake of Reincarnation. This is the lake where if anyone gets drowned, they resurface with new characteristics.
So, there was no exception in case of the Eater of the World, as well. He returned as a babyface superstar which is quite unthinkable.
At the Wrestlemania 34 kick-off show, the former leader of the Wyatt Family returned to shock the world. He aligned with Woken Hardy to let the latter one win the contest.
From that point onwards, these two formed a tag team who are chasing the WWE Raw tag team championships. They will get an opportunity at Greatest Royal Rumble event.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter gave an update on the future of this relationship. Technically, the bonding looks solid since these two are the weirdest characters in the current pro-wrestling universe.
But, they are certainly opposite characters and the tag team is expected to fall apart soon, according to the source.
At one point, Wyatt is expected to turn on Hardy going back to his heel persona. This might happen at a time when these two fails to capture the tag team titles.
In that case, the former WWE Champion will look forward to leading another team, according to the source.
A huge team from WWE NXT, SAnitY will make their debut on the main roster. If the source is to go by then Wyatt will become the new leader of the faction.
It will be immensely justified that a dark age will be recreated by Wyatt now that we have not seen his family for a long time and probably, will not, ever.
It will be interesting to see whether the fans would like to a reincarnation of the rivalry between Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt.
Previously, this interesting feud was made pretty dull for the better part until the Compound match was created.
So, the WWE Universe might not like to re-watch this. For now, these two will continue their run with the tag titles won at Greatest Royal Rumble.
