Finn Balor has been on the main roster since 2016. As much as we have liked him to see him as one of the main event stars of an interesting show, he is not.

So, we should blame the WWE officials for wasting this special talent in storylines for a long time. Plus, they have never given this man the rematch for the Universal Championship.

Currently, Baron Corbin is the existing rival of Finn Balor on WWE Raw. These two have some physical altercations for the past couple of weeks.

This set up the stage for a singles competition at the upcoming PPV event. So, WWE made it official for the Extreme Rules PPV. Cathy Kelley revealed the match on the distinct social media profiles of the company.

Meanwhile, the verbal exchanges are on for this feud over on the social media. Finn Balor seemed pretty much excited to get his hands on the Constable of WWE Raw at the upcoming PPV event.

To showcase his experience in the pro-wrestling world, he posted a tweet. It said that Balor was winning tournaments like the Best of the Super Juniors when Corbin was still a football player.

The Lone Wolf came up with an appropriate reply that it took him 10 years to come to the WWE while Corbin just made a phone call and become the Constable of Monday Night Raw.

Plus, he also hinted that the 205 Live roster might be getting another member in the form of Balor after Extreme Rules.

Check out his comments,

“That’s as impressive to me as winning an over 40 church basketball league MVP award. It took you 10 years to get to the WWE, me I made a phone call. When I am done with you 205 will be waiting. You will fit in much better.”

This might turn out to be true now that Corbin is acting as an authority figure. Plus the above quotes may have revealed the future planning around Finn Balor.

So much so, most of the matches at Extreme Rules does have an added stipulation with them. This one match between Balor and Corbin might have a rule, too. By virtue of this, one should go to the 205 Live roster.

At this stage, it is just a wild rumour from Monday Night Raw.

It may not happen to a bonafide worldwide star like Finn Balor. But there’s a saying of ‘never say never’ in the world of pro-wrestling. That could turn out to be true on this upcoming Sunday night.
