WWE Rumour: Neville Wants a Release From his WWE Contract 1

If the current rumours turn out to be true, then WWE might have lost one of the most charismatic performers of this generation.

The former Cruiserweight Champion, Neville who was able to put the lightweight division on the map, might have decided to part ways with the company.

Pro-wrestling Sheet reported that the so-called King of the Cruiserweights quit WWE following this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. He walked away once the show went off the air and might have decided not to come back to the WWE, again. He was also not present during this week’s 205 Live show, as well.

The initially scheduled match on WWE Raw was that Neville would take on against the champion, Enzo Amore in the main event of the show. However, as reported on the Facebook page of The 434, the match was altered at the very last moment. Kalisto replaced Neville in the title match and eventually became the new Cruiserweight Champion.

Interestingly, the Kalisto vs Enzo Amore match had already been confirmed for TLC PPV before Raw with the latter one being the champion. Now that the masked Luchador won the title, it will be a rematch between them on October 22nd.

So, The Man that Gravity Forgot never got the championship rematch for his title. The script for this week’s main event match got rewritten for multiple times according to PWInsider.com and Neville was not happy with this, at all. It might be the potential reason for him quitting WWE, all of a sudden. Till date, no update was given on Neville’s status.

To make things even more interesting, The Young Bucks from Ring Of Honor promotion offered a spot for Neville at the Bullet Club faction. They have posted on Twitter regarding this which means the new of Neville walking out of WWE might be a legit one.

Neville wasn’t used properly ever since debuting on the main roster in 2015. He is often being considered as the best in-ring competitor on the current roster, who got underutilised in the Cruiserweight division. So, he might be looking for a better place, right now.
