The Survivor Series PPV has always been very special to the Rock. He made his debut in this event 20 years ago in 1996. In a recent interview, The Rock revealed his debut moment was very special to him. Since next Sunday will mark his 20th anniversary in the WWE, the rumor mill suggests that the company might bring him back for the event. This will be like last year, when WWE celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Undertaker at Survivor Series PPV.

A report from PWInsider.com suggests the WWE might bring him at the Survivor Series PPV as a special guest attraction. Being a guest performer in the WWE he can show up for one-off appearance anytime he wants. The report says, “The Rock can come back to WWE whenever he wants to.”

Now, the appearance will obviously be an in-ring performance. He will be attending the event as an entertainer. The dual brand PPV is going to be a four-hour extravaganza and hence WWE can give him a full segment with a non-wrestling capacity.

This year’s Survivor Series will mark the 30th anniversary of the last big PPV of the year. To celebrate the week, already some big confrontations have been made. Goldberg had a face-off against Brock Lesnar on past week’s Raw, which was a spine chilling moment for all the wrestling fans.

In addition, Smackdown celebrated its 900th episode on Tuesday Night. The Rated R Superstar and the Undertaker were present on the show. Now the Rock’s addition to the Survivor Series weekend will be an icing on the cake. The event is scheduled to take place at the Air Canada center in Toronto, Canada.

The Rock last featured in a Survivor Series match way back in 2011. He teamed up with John Cena to face the team of The Miz and R-Truth, which ended in a winning effort.
