WWE Rumour: Ronda Rousey to Get a Singles Match at Wrestlemania 34 1

When it comes to Ronda Rousey, it’s every WWE fan’s dream to witness the MMA legend to compete inside the squared circle.

She made an appearance at Wrestlemania 31 alongside The Rock to give us “the moment of the year”. That segment marked the beginning of speculations of Ronda probably joining WWE shortly. Almost two and a half years have passed by since then, but nothing was arranged regarding this scenario.

Last year, we got a positive sign in this brewing matter considering that the former Bantamweight Champions lost her undefeated streak at UFC. Holly Helmes victimised her at UFC 207 which fuelled up the rumours of her jumping ship to the WWE. But, till date, there has been nothing more than a friendly gesture between the two parties.

Recently, the rumour mill was fueled up when Ronda Rousey was spotted with Triple H during the Mae Young Classic. On the taping of the WWE Network special event, a confrontation between the two ‘four-horsewomen’ groups from WWE and UFC were also seen indicating the same.

Presently, the reports are suggesting that Ronda is preparing for her grand WWE debut. Next year. According to the rumour roundup section of cagesideseats.com, the former bantamweight champion will have a huge singles match at Wrestlemania 34. The company might arrange a proper storyline for that soon.

When it comes to her opponent, Charlotte Flair is the automatic choice. However, in a recent statement, The Queen of the WWE stated that it would not be her dream match. But, if Ronda does step into a WWE ring someday, she will be happy to welcome her. Check out her quotes, here (courtesy Inquistr.com)

“Ronda wouldn’t be my dream opponent, but if WWE was something she would want to consider, I would definitely want to be her first competitor.”

Stephanie McMahon is quite a replacement if Charlotte is not available by any means. Meanwhile, another UFC star, Cris Cyborg recently complained about not getting a match at Summerslam against Becky Lynch. The blame was put on Ronda claiming that she wants to be the first from UFC to compete in WWE. We have to wait for some more to see if this claiming is legit.
