WWE Rumour: Shane McMahon to Appear on Smackdown, Next Week 1

WWE Universe will wait with bated breath to witness the in-ring return of Daniel Bryan.

After years of waiting, it will finally happen at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. It is the same place which was turned into Yes-o-mania, four years ago, as he reached to the top of the sports entertainment by winning the WWE Championship.

After four years, the Smackdown general manager will be seen competing against two superstars who are the top heels of the company.

He will team up with Shane McMahon against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. A prime babyface vs prime heel scenario has all the tools to bring out an A-star rated match.

The match started to get set up once Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn delivered a disturbing attack on Shane McMahon. If that was not it then right after Daniel Bryan was cleared to compete, he suffered the same consequence to confirm it’s happening.

In the meantime, WWE.com broke the news that Shane was hospitalised.

This injury was thought to be a legit one. A new partner was expected for Daniel Bryan. But, the GM announced that his original partner would be okay to go on April 8th. So, the match was confirmed from the Smackdown Live leaving us in doubts about the status of the commissioner.

A report from cagesideseats.com that the prodigal son of WWE will be back onboard much earlier than expected. He would be present on next week’s episode of Smackdown Live to confirm he is indeed competing at this year’s Wrestlemania. It also means the injury update provided to him might have been kayfabe.

It is the current details of his injury from SportsKeeda.com,

“It is not clear how this is possible though since Diverticulitis is a serious infection, which almost ended Brock Lesnar’s career back when he was signed to UFC. While some believe that the injuries are part of a storyline, from the current standpoint, the infection and hospitalization seem pretty legitimate.”

Whatever the case may be, it will be great to have Shane McMahon back. His appearance at Wrestlemania has been a must for the last couple of years. It would be confirmed further on the go home edition of Smackdown Live. The show is slated to take place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
