WWE Rumour: Stone Cold Steve Austin Appearing at Wrestlemania Weekend 1

Just like the stacked lineup for this year’s Wrestlemania, the list of inductees for the Hall of Fame is a long one, too.

Goldberg is the headliner of the night, whereas, the other names would be The Dudley Boyz, Ivory, Mark Henry, Jeff Jarrett, Jarrius JJ Robertson, Kid Rock and Hillbilly Jim. Now, WWE had mostly let us know as of who’d induct these names into the prestigious club.

Paul Heyman will induct Goldberg into the club, whereas, Edge and Christian will do the honour for The Dudley Boyz.

It was also announced that Road Dogg would induct Jeff Jarrett into the WWE Hall of Fame. The speculations are running rampant with the inductor of Kid Rock since it is still not known.

This man had enriched WWE with his music, over the years and getting the recognition due to this association. He is the celebrity wing inductee for the 2018 edition. Hence, a big name should do the honour for him which is still to be known. Recently, a reliable source gave a huge update on it.

According to the WrestleVotes Twitter handle, they are expecting somebody to open ‘a can of whoop ass’ which refers to Stone Cold Steve Austin. They are still not sure about it, but chances can’t be wiped out. It would also bring a star power to the Hall of Fame ceremony creating much attention towards it.

Previously, it was supposed that The Undertaker will appear at the Hall of Fame ceremony as the American Badass persona. This theme of the Deadman was created by Kid Rock which is why a live performance was expected on the stage, as well. But, it is not likely that the Deadman is appearing on the Hall of Fame night.

The Undertaker is in the middle of a storyline angle where John Cena is calling him, tirelessly for a match at Wrestlemania. But, he cares the least about it and did not bother to show up, at all. The match is still unsanctioned to happen on Sunday Night. So, it is not expected that WWE is bringing him back to the Hall of Fame night, all of a sudden.

Hence, bringing Stone Cold Steve Austin at the Hall of Fame night seems much more expected. According to the reports of Wrestling Observer, the venue is still to be sold out. Hence, if this legend’s name gets included on the card, this would give a big boost to ticket selling.

This would be Stone Cold’s second appearance in WWE in this year after Raw’s 25th anniversary.
