The Rock is always a major draw for WWE TV ratings considering how much mainstream name he is.
The former franchise player of the WWE had managed to establish himself as the highest paid Hollywood star. Additionally, he did have a WWE contract by which we witnessed him in one-off appearances on WWE Raw or Wrestlemania.
The last time it happened was in Dallas, Texas in 2016 after which he got extremely busy with his Hollywood career. For the past two years, we have not seen him appearing on live TV on any of the shows hosted by WWE.
With Wrestlemania 34 approaching, quickly, the rumours suggest there’s a slight chance that we might get to see The Rock at the grandest stage of them all.

A popular betting website called Oddschecker is supporting the fact that the former WWE Champion would indeed make a comeback to the showcase of immortals, this year. The spokesperson George Elek from the website suggested there are 99 percent of chances to witness The Rock in New Orleans on April 8th, (quotes courtesy The Daily Star)
“The Rock is still one of the WWE’s biggest names and an appearance from the Great One would spike interest and generate huge publicity for Vince McMahon’s business.
The bookies believe The Rock is almost certain to appear once again at The Showcase of the Immortals and 1/100 implies a 99% chance that we will see The People’s Champion inside the Squared Circle. If bookies are right, then that’s exactly what will be happening come Wrestlemania 34, with a predicted 99 percent chance of it happening. For perspective, that’s the same chance of Spain beating the Faroe Islands or San Marino.”
The above quotes can be considered quite rightful considering Vince McMahon does think ‘Rocky’ as one of the biggest draws of all-time. So, after coming back to the company in 2010, his name had been a must at Wrestlemania. It remained intact until last year, as he got extremely busy and could not reserve time to appear in Orlando, Florida.
The potential capacity in which The Rock might appear is in a segment with Elias. This man does not have any proper match or segment planned for him at the biggest event of the year. According to a report from DirtySheets.net, WWE officials were seriously considering him to bring for a 20-minute capacity.
Elias would have sung five theme songs in his musical performance at Wrestlemania with the fifth one of The Rock. The Great One would have come out interrupting him delighting the crowd. If he can’t manage it to make some time, then we might have Shawn Michaels as a potential replacement.
