WWE Rumour: The Undertaker to Appear at the Fastlane PPV Event 1

The speculations of The Undertaker returning to the WWE programming are growing bigger.

The date of Wrestlemania 34 is approaching towards us, fast. Hence, it is evident this man will rise again from his yard. The chances are there that he might not compete since John Cena stated on WWE Raw that he is not scheduled to come back, this time around.

But, the sources are still suggesting the match between The Undertaker and John Cena is on. We can’t believe of a Wrestlemania show without the Phenome. Over the past 25 years, he created a legacy that will remain, forever as the biggest accolade of the pro-wrestling industry. Till now, his record stands at the show as 23-2.

In the midst of all the speculations, Michelle McCool, the wife of the Undertaker has fuelled it up, even more by posting a video on Instagram. Just a couple of days before the Fastlane PPV, this post hinted that he is gearing up for a competition. The 52-year old veteran was spotted in quite a good shape.

Apparently, this was thought to be an indication of a return on WWE Monday Night Raw. But, another report from Bryan Alvarez from Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggested the comeback might have been preponed. So, he might be all set to show up on tonight’s PPV event.

The source has dictated it is certain the buildup between John Cena and The Undertaker will star soon. The general thought was the franchise player of the company would fail to win the WWE Championship at the PPV event and then appear on the flagship show to continue his storyline of not getting a match at Wrestlemania.

But, the source stated the beginning of the angle would not wait until Monday Night. Instead, it will begin on tonight’s show from Columbus, Ohio. Check out the quotes from the source,

“I believe the setup for The Undertaker vs. John Cena match will be at Fastlane. I don’t think they will wait for RAW for that one.”

The capacity of Undertaker appearing in this event is not confirmed. But, being a six-way title match in the main event, it’s a no disqualification contest. Hence, The Deadman can very well be interfering in this match targeting Cena to start the much-anticipated angle.
