WWE has taken the initiative to elevate the level of women superstars. The process is known as the Women’s Revolution and has been going on since 2015.
Moreover, it will continue to grow day-by-day as women superstars are now capable of main-eventing any show or PPVs.
On the other hand, we can assume that this Evolution will come full circle when they can feature in the main event of Wrestlemania. This is the ultimate goal that they have in mind from the very beginning.
Women superstars are going to achieve it someday. meanwhile, bigger arrangements around them will continue to happen in the foreseeable future.
For instance, the Mae Young Classic is returning to WWE schedule – to the delight of the fans. And we will witness it in this year’s fall.
Furthermore, an event is potentially coming up with an all-women lineup. A report of Pro Wrestling Sheet states that women superstars are set to create history again. So, they will receive their own PPV event which means men will not be able to perform on this particular show. This will be the first such show for the women’s division of the company.
Check out the updates, (courtesy stillrealtous.com): “WWE officials are discussing the idea of holding an all women’s event for the main roster in the fall, possibly in September or October. The women of WWE weren’t allowed to compete at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia back in April, so this could be WWE’s way of making up for that.”
The report took us to the backlash that WWE suffered in April. Fans could not believe that the GRR event in Saudi Arabia entirely banned the women superstars.
It happened even after Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks performing in the same region just a few months ago.
WWE officials are making that up sooner with this all-women PPV event. The source did not provide any details on this special show as it is just not ‘set in stone yet’.
We also don’t whether superstars from NXT will participate in it.
There are chances we could see former superstars returning on this occasion just like that Royal Rumble PPV event.
