WWE sale has been a matter of discussion among professional wrestling fans ever since Vince McMahon returned, earlier this year. Utilizing his power, he shook things up in the Board of Directors, sending his daughter and former co-CEO Stephanie McMahon out of the league as she possibly believed that there was no more need for her presence.
As noted, Vince McMahon returned with the sole purpose of the WWE sale, and some heavy bidders were brought in on the Road to Wrestlemania 39 to get underway with the process. It seems that they have landed on a new owner and a deal could be announced as soon as the Wrestlemania season gets over.

Although Saudi Arabia and Comcast were potential heavy hitters for a WWE sale, they are not going to secure the big deal. According to a new report from CNBC, UFC parent company, Endeavor went all out to finalize the WWE sale deal and they secured it. The sources also noted that the deal could be announced within a few hours,
“Vince McMahon’s World Wrestling Entertainment is in advanced talks to be sold to Ari Emanuel’s Endeavor Group, the parent company of UFC, according to people familiar with the matter.
A deal could be announced as soon as Monday. UFC and WWE are expected to form a new publicly traded company as part of the agreement, according to the people, who declined to be named due to the confidential nature of the discussions.”

WWE sale will keep the current owners onboard
In a further update on WWE sale, it was stated that “Endeavor is slated to own 51% of the new combat sports and entertainment company, while WWE shareholders would get 49%, according to the people. The Endeavor deal gives WWE an enterprise value of $9.3 billion, they said.”
Back in late February, it was reported that UFC owner Endeavor was out of the WWE sale run. During the company’s fourth quarter and full-year earnings call for 2022, CEO Ari Emmanuel was asked if his company was interested in acquiring Vince McMahon’s WWE. The top executive praised Vince for creating such a huge global brand empire but he also revealed that Endeavor wasn’t looking forward to buying WWE.
Hence, the sudden report of Endeavor sealing the WWE sale deal appeared to be a total surprise for the fans. It could be possible that they’re simply trying to swerve the fans by hiding the fact. With Monday’s Raw after Wrestlemania waiting in LA, we now wait for the big confirmation.
