On the next backstage segment on Smackdown, we get to see Bobby Lashley having a celebration along with the Street Profits. He was talking about their new union and how they were going to deal with things around here. Bobby Lashley also reminded what they did last week on SmackDown.
Next up was the United States Championship match. While Santos Escobar was making his entrance, Austin Theory attacked his injured left knee once again. The officials and the rest of the LWO members came out to check on him. Theory was so happy that he did not have to defend this title. Adam Pearce said that he would definitely defend this title and if Escobar was not ready to compete, he would wrestle Rey Mysterio.

Match 4 – WWE United States Championship – Rey Mysterio defeated Austin Theory to become new champion
This was extremely shocking. Nobody expected this reign to end like this. With due respect towards the Legend Rey Mysterio, is it the way to end a 250+ day title reign? And that was also again someone who was out of his prime? With the way Theory and Belair’s title reign ended, it is pretty much clear that Triple H has no creativity on booking a proper long title reign whatsoever. It was all completely visionless.
About the match, there was nothing special about it. The way Theory’s title reign ended tonight, the only thing we can say is, WWE did not do any justice to him. It took only three minutes for Rey Mysterio to beat him. We still believe WWE is planning something behind this shocking decision. We would discuss it in our Ups and Downs story.
Jey Uso Says He Is Out Of WWE
Solo Sikoa, Paul Heyman, and the WWE Universal Heavyweight champion Roman Reigns came out for the next and final segment of the night. After taking a long entrance, Roman Reigns and his team stood inside the ring. Jimmy Uso was seen standing outside of the ring. Everybody was expecting him to return to the Bloodline.
But Jimmy Uso cleared the confusion when he said that whatever he did at SummerSlam had nothing to do with Roman Reigns. Roman tried to convince him so he decides to return to the Bloodline once again. Jey Uso interrupted them and came out to the arena. He entered the ring and stood face to face with his brother.
Jey demanded an explanation from Jimmy. Jimmy said that he did not attack him because he was jealous of him but he was afraid of losing him. He was afraid if he became the tribal chief he would have become like Roman Reigns. Jimmy surrendered to Jey, if Jey wanted to attack him he was free to do it.
But Jey did not do anything and Jimmy left the ring. Roman Reigns started to provoke Jey again but this time Jey answered Roman Reigns with a super kick. He grounded both Roman and Solo and grounded them. Then he went towards his brother Jimmy and grounded him with the super kick too. Jey then Student of the camera and said he was out of Bloodline, SmackDown, and WWE too. Jey started celebrating with the crowd as this week’s SmackDown went off air.
