Bray Wyatt involved in a feud with LA Knight

Recently, he began a feud with LA Knight that could lead to a matchup. A few weeks ago, LA was headbutted while the very next week, he slapped the face of the attacker. But as an aftermath, he was brutally attacked backstage by a mystery attacker, and obviously, Bray Wyatt was accused of this.

The assumption is that the ongoing storyline will be producing a match between the duo and that bout will serve as one of the headliners of the final episode of SmackDown of 2022. According to Xero News, Bray Wyatt vs. LA Knight is scheduled to take place on the December 30th episode of SmackDown. This is going to be Bray’s first match on TV since returning to WWE and his first one since WrestleMania 37, where he lost to Randy Orton.

Adding Bray Wyatt to the card will also going to be a huge attraction for the fans. Recently, WWE CEO Stephanie McMahon talked at a summit about how this storyline managed to captivate the fans. The return impact was so good it caused a 20% increase in viewership during the post-Extreme Rules episode, as per the below comments.

“We were bringing back one of our biggest stars named Bray Wyatt. We used a multimedia approach and hired a horror writer to come in and really help us craft this narrative, so our fans were engaged. It’s strategies like that that really do work,” Stephanie McMahon continued.

“The audience today is different. They’re growing; they’re evolving. Some people want to have a laid-back experience, and that’s great, but a lot of people really want to engage deeply, and have fun, and have misleads and misdirections,” she mentioned. (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)
