Ever since making her debut on NXT, several years ago, Charlotte Flair has proved that she belongs to a league of her own. She has been competing in the WWE for almost a decade and the glorious days are definitely not behind her. The genetically superior athlete has won more Women’s Titles than anyone in history which makes her one of the greatest female Superstars of all time, already.

Given her age, Charlotte Flair is nowhere near to stopping and when she eventually does so, there would be no one to even come close to her. After months of absence, she returned to WWE TV from several months of absence to win back the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

During the December 30 episode of Smackdown, Charlotte Flair returned to WWE programming for the first time since WrestleMania Backlash in May 2022. She pinned Ronda Rousey to win the Smackdown Women’s Championship in an impromptu match and WWE is now promoting her as a 14-time World Champion.

Speaking about her historic title win on Smackdown, Charlotte Flair had the following to offer in a backstage interview,

“I’m a little speechless right now. 2022 has just been the best year of my life. Even going back to the beginning, I was able to wrestle in Saudi Arabia for the first time.

I beat Ronda Rousey for the first time at WrestleMania, which was always a bucket list. Then I got married, traveled the world with my husband, and then ending the year where I belong, where I’m home… it’s picture-perfect, a fairytale.”
