Over the eight-year course of her career in the WWE, Charlotte Flair has had multiple championship wins which received mixed responses from fans. Overall, she’s a 14-time women’s champion in the WWE which is way more than anyone could have thought of. There have been controversies regarding strong booking but her skills and abilities inside the ring are also widely acknowledged.
It’s safe to say that Charlotte Flair could be considered the Roman Reigns of the women’s division and that also brings the aspect of being an undisputed champion in the company. However, it seems that the superstar herself is opposed to the concept of merging the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships. She doesn’t want to unify women’s titles because it means lesser opportunities for the talents.
WWE Smackdown: Charlotte Flair Called Out By Top AEW Champion For A Title Match
While speaking with The Daytona Beach News-Journal at NASCAR’s Daytona 500 on Sunday, ‘The Opportunity’ herself was asked about possibly unifying the titles. Charlotte Flair made it clear with her following comments that she has no intention of unifying the women’s titles.
“I don’t recommend a unification program because I feel that would mean less opportunities for the women. It was cool for one of the girls to have both titles at one time, but it takes a lot of spots away.”

Charlotte Flair headed to WrestleMania as a champion, again
Starting from May 2022, Charlotte Flair went into the longest hiatus of her WWE career after dropping the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Ronda Rousey in an I Quit Match against Ronda Rousey. However, she won back the championship in December upon her surprise return and victory over The Baddest Woman on the Planet.
During the December 30th episode of Friday Night Smackdown, in a surprising set of events, Charlotte Flair returned in a surprising capacity and defeated Ronda Rousey for the title within just a few seconds. The unexpected outcome of the match sparked controversy and criticism since some of the WWE Universe members again found favoritism in booking the top talent of the women’s division and how she was put back on top soon after coming back to the company.
While Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey mostly took care of things in the SmackDown Women’s division, last year. Bianca Belair has been the Women’s Champion on the Raw brand since defeating Becky Lynch for the title on Night One of WrestleMania 38.
Belair has been open about having a mega match against Flair since she’s the only Four Horsewoman to defeat her. The Queen is also apparently ecstatic about the match but going by her comments, she’s not willing to let it happen at the expense of unifying the titles.
