Soon after his shift to WWE Smackdown from Raw during the 2023 edition of Draft, rumors started running rampant about Edge’s possible retirement. One of the reasons behind the speculations was Edge himself as he announced last summer about retiring from in-ring competition after coming back to his hometown of Toronto, this summer.
During his last appearance on WWE Smackdown, Edge clarified that retirement plans have since been postponed and now it appears that he’s rather eager to celebrate his career in his hometown as WWE has officially announced the same.
