The final night of Smackdown Live before the Greatest Royal Rumble was hosted last night.

The rivalry around the WWE Championship was the focal point, whereas, The Hollywood A-lister returned after a long time on the show. Also, Asuka competed in her first match on Smackdown hosted by the KFC Yum Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

Smackdown Live kicked off with The Miz hosting the Miz TV. Daniel Bryan was his scheduled guest, but Big Cass replaced him on the show. The seven-footer elaborated as of why he has targeted Bryan after coming back. He also promised to end Bryan’s career for good for stealing the spotlight that he deserves.

The Iconic Duo stood in the middle of the ring to cut a promo on how they helped Charlotte to drop the title. They also vowed to win their scheduled match on Smackdown. Becky Lynch and Asuka appeared to start the match which was won by the heels. Billie distracted Becky and Peyton threw her to the ring post to get the pinfall win with a roll up.

The Usos were seen planning strategy before their showdown against the Bludgeons when Naomi walked out to tell she will interfere if required. In the singles match between Jimmy and Rowan, the latter one was in control when Naomi’s music hit to provide the distraction. Jimmy rolled up Rowan to get the win.

Renee Young was present in the ring to host the championship contract signing between Charlotte and Carmella. The Smackdown women’s champion came out first to gloat about her victory over The Queen. Charlotte interrupted to sign the contract and send Carmella’s face into the table. The champ was seen down, as Charlotte left the ring.

Shelton Benjamin was scheduled to have a match against Randy Orton. Jeff Hardy appeared by the ringside to watch the match. During the end of the match, the fight continued at ringside when a masked man appeared. It seemed to be Sunil Singh who received an RKO. This distraction allowed Benjamin to hit a Paydirt to pick up the win.

The main event lineup of Smackdown Live witnessed AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows vs Aiden English, Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura.

The WWE Champion was neutralised by a low blow by Nakamura when the referee was not watching. The latter one was approaching for a Kinshasa which Anderson took upon to digest the pinfall loss. Nakamura celebrated to end the show.
