How Wrestlemania 39 rematch was set up on WWE Smackdown
KO and Sami Zayn kicked off last night’s WWE SmackDown and said The Usos were coming for a rematch for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. The Usos and Solo Sikoa then came out to affirm that there are no cracks in The Bloodline. Sami reminded them that Solo almost attacked Jey last week.
Jey then reminded Sami that KO needed to watch his back because Sami will backstab him just like he did to The Bloodline. The Usos and Sikoa then surrounded the ring, intending an attack on the champions, but Matt Riddle came out neutralizing things and the babyfaces eventually cleared the ring.
As a result of the kick-off segment on WWE Smackdown, a main event was announced between Solo Sikoa and Matt Riddle. Before that match started, Paul Heyman announced that The Usos will face Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship in a WrestleMania 39 rematch on the April 28th episode of SmackDown.
Heyman also noted that it’s a guarantee that Owens and Zayn will drop the titles because Roman Reigns was losing patience with the two of you. While saying so, Heyman essentially pointed out to The Usos in the back to tease something interesting for the future.
