A number of WWE Legends and special attendees were there on this week’s episode of WWE Smackdown. In the absence of some top mainstay superstars from the blue brand, a couple of names from the red brand were also added to the card to surprise the fans.
Check out the number of special appearances from the January 21 episode of WWE Smackdown that took place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee,
– Raw Superstar Big E accompanied Kofi Kingston to the ring for the latter’s win against Madcap Moss (with Happy Baron Corbin). After the match, E also took out Moss with a Big Ending.

– Former WWE Diva Summer Rae was shown at ringside during Aliyah’s DQ win over Natalya. Summer appeared to continue her social media beef with Nattie. Country music singer Jimmie Allen was also there at ringside for this match.

– WWE Hall Of Famer Eric Bischoff was shown giving advice to WWE Official Adam Pearce after which Pearce booked Deville vs. Naomi for next week’s WWE SmackDown.

– Celebrity WWE Hall of Famer Kid Rock was shown at ringside for a segment featuring Sami Zayn and Hollywood star Johnny Knoxville who was also a special guest on the show as he’s on a promotion spree for his next Jackass movie. Johnny shocked Sami with a cattle prod and then also tossed him over the top rope.

– WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs met WWE Hall Of Famer Jeff Jarrett, backstage as Boogs hoped to learn some guitar lessons from Jarrett.

– In the main event of WWE Smackdown on FOX, Kevin Owens accompanied Seth Rollins for a win over SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos via DQ after Roman Reigns laid out Rollins with a Superman Punch. As per the stipulation of the match, The Usos are now banned from ringside during the Universal Title match at the Royal Rumble.

Once the main show went off the air, The Bloodline – Reigns and The Usos attacked Rollins and Owens until Big E made the save. A six-man challenge was then issued, but Reigns turned them down. Owens called Reigns a “little b—h” in response causing a brawl.

The match eventually happened where Reigns took a Stomp from Rollins. Rollins, Owens and E picked up the win by pinning one of the Usos.

In more surprise appearances for this week’s WWE Smackdown, WWE NXT Superstars LA Knight and Roderick Strong competed in a singles bout. Knight defeated Strong in what was reported as a competitive match that lasted for about 9 minutes. Knight was treated as a babyface superstar by the crowd.
