Smackdown Live general manager was back on his show, last night to address the fallouts from last week. A massive attack was delivered to Shane McMahon by Owens & Zayn with repercussions waiting for them. With just three weeks remaining for Wrestlemania, there were some major announcements on the show, as well.

Smackdown started with a video package that Daniel Bryan was forced to retire from in-ring competition in 2016. Now, the breaking news is that the most popular superstar of his generation will be able to return to the squared circle, yet again. The crowd went nuts as his music starts to play in the arena. The GM makes his way out to the ring.
Daniel Bryan thanked the WWE Universe for helping him throughout this tough time when he broke down about not being able to compete, ever again. Furthermore, he thanked his wife, Brie Bella for supporting him all the way during this period. A loud Thank You Brie chant broke out in the arena when Bryan informed us that he will compete in the WWE, again.
Going to the back, he was greeted by the officials and names like Dolph Ziggler as AJ Styles walked out to the ring to sit at the commentary table for the opening contest. Shinsuke Nakamura competed against Rusev in a singles match. Nakamura connected with a kick to the back of the face and rolled up Rusev for the win.
After the match, Aiden English and Rusev tried to deliver an assault on Nakamura. But, the Royal Rumble winner was able to swat both of them away on his own. Nakamura also alluded that he does not need Styles’ help to overcome the odds. Baron Corbin competed in a singles match against Tye Dillinger. He won the match after hitting his opponent with an End of Days.
Charlotte Flair had a backstage confrontation with Natalya where the latter one stated that The Queen is afraid of Asuka. This heated conversation set up a match between the two on Smackdown Live. Carmella ran out during the match providing the distraction to Charlotte and got leveled with a big boot. Natalya rolled her opponent up to pick up the win.
Jimmy Uso had a singles match against Harper. Despite his brother standing by his side, Harper delivered a clothesline to Jimmy to pick up the win. Becky Lynch teamed up with Naomi to defeat the team of Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan. Becky locked in the arm-bar to make Logan tap out. Also, a segment took place among Bobby Roode, Randy Orton, and Jinder Mahal to confirm that they will compete in a triple threat match at Wrestlemania for the US title.
In the final segment of Smackdown Live, Daniel Bryan called out Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Due to their antics last week, they were fired from the show. But, they decided to vent out their frustrations on the GM instead of apologizing. Bryan tried hard to fight back but caught up with the number games. A huge powerbomb on the ring apron forced the officials to run out and carry out him on a stretcher.
